There are three things that make a photographer very very happy. Good light, good weather and a lovely bride who is willing to get her dress dirty!
Jenny and Doug got married in early September and apparently they just didn’t get enough of me so they came back for more pictures
Actually, the TTD session was instead of an engagement session, and boy did we have fun!! Jenny is so pretty and just looked great in every shot, making it very hard to narrow down the pictures to post. Doug was so kind as to come along too and they made some wonderful pictures. In our little adventure, we met Debbie and her horse Rosie. Debbie was so nice and let us get some pictures with her very sweet horse. Enjoy!

Ashley and Jason will be getting married in November and I can hardly wait for this one! Ashley just oozes style and I know she is going to look fantastic on her wedding day. Well today Ashley came to meet with me one last time before the big day, but she didn’t come alone! Ashley was so kind as to bring her Chloe with her and fun was had by all! What an adorable little puggy Chloe is! She even held still to get her picture taken! I can tell Otis misses Chloe because he is still moping at the front door that she left through!

As some of you may know, my hubby and I went on a much-needed mini vacation this past weekend to Greenville, SC. We stayed with some friends there and did some pretty intense hiking, had fondue and just enjoyed some time off. While Andrew went to his nerd convention (really it was an economics convention for the Von Mises Institute), Davina and I spent the day (oh wonderful day) shopping!! We went to Table Rock state park and I figured I would post some pictures from that beautiful hike!

What an amazing couple! These two clearly have a heart for others and such an inner beauty! Wyatt and Jeanette definately have style, and it showed in every detail of their wedding. Jeanette wore brooches from her grandmothers in her hair, and there were little bits of family history every where you looked. I was honored to be able to shoot their wedding and wish them a lifetime of love.

not knowing what kind of craziness I would put Jeanette through, she was prepared and bought two of the same dress! Now THAT is being prepared!

the first look

I want to see pictures from Iceland when you get back!

While most people were fast asleep in their cozy beds on Monday morning, these two were doing battle with mosquitoes at dawn. What troopers! Mike and Ashley are a photographer’s dream. They were so cute and playful, and more than happy to do some pretty crazy stuff just to get the shot! I turned around and next thing I knew they were dangling from a tree (of which there were many
I know they are going to have a wonderful and unique wedding…can’t wait!
