I know you are making your own dogfood, so I thought I would share this recipe I have been using. Our boys really like it and it’s very easy to make.
1 lb ground turkey
1 egg
1 cup cooked rice
4 oz peas (I have also used chopped green beans)
1/4 cup chopped carrots
1 small apple chopped
dash of garlic
Mix ingredients together then form into patties. Place on baking sheet and place in 375 F oven for 18 – 25 minutes. I press them with a spatula to make sure they are fully cooked and no raw juices come out. I cool and then place them in a ziplock bag in the frig. They get one “burger” for supper. Because they are each 50 lbs, I supplement it with some dry dogfood. Your guys could get by with less,
Hope you are doing well, haven’t seen you guys for awhile, but the holidays are coming and I’m sure we’ll be together during that time.
